I worked for Oakley back in the day and had many friends at IRT as we all pretty much ran the same freight. I find it hard to believe that they would sit you that long for a trailer unless they were trying to get the thorn out of thier side.

I for the like of me could not understand what he was complaining about. Thanks for the clarification giants14701. Are you still going to join IRT? I'll have to reconsider the opportunity that Amy proposed when I spoke with her come spring. Just east of the River doesn't seem all that bad.

    Hello All!

I found this site a few days ago..have some time on my hands:biggrin_25513: and have been reading about outfits. I am going to have to leave my delivery driver job and head back to OTR - I have always wondered about IRT, I used to pass through Tulare a lot, always see the rigs on the road. I think this is the first thread on a firm that has good things to say pretty much all the time. I look forward to hearing more about IRT, and I just bookmarked their site - if I do have to go back out - these guys are my first choice to apply too!

Thanks to all who put out the honest info about IRT!
    Be safe -

After delivering load in Clovis, NM, I am taking a load to Hammond, LA. Many loads go to Louisiana and Alabama from Clovis, NM.
I talked to 2 drivers at Clovis who are teaming up. Previously , we had no teams, but they are offering 42 cpm for teams and a promise of non stop running.
Our trucks only have one bunk, How does that work ?
Also, how do you make more money if you split 42 which makes your pay 21 cpm. ?

always at 78 79,000. there are no light loads. either empty or full
    no sliding of tandems.
sometimes shipper has to take some product off if too far over.
scales are located at shippers and consignees
