Welcome! If the facility there is anything like it is here...sparse, but decent. The building itself is nice and has a lot of amenities like private showers, a small store, tv room and laundry facilities. The rooms are not what you would call fancy. Simple bunk beds and one chair with a heater and window. Very basic, but, like they have said, we're here to learn, not take a vacation. Be sure to have ALL your paperwork or they will send you home on your dime.

Sorry to hear that Smad. Trucking really is a dangerous career! It really sucks to loose a fellow driver.

When you are hauling potato chips they usually give you special routing instructions. Some of the runs you can make good money because it's a lot of extra miles and the load is really light.

I had a friend that went through Central. He said he really liked it. The school taught him a lot and the company was good to him. I have heard good and bad things about England, but that is something you will hear no matter what company you go with.

I am safe and sound taking my 34. I made my delivery this morning. Went over a bridge and felt my truck sliding to the left. That was scary. I wasn't even going 20mph but I got it onto 4th and stayed there the rest of the way over and into the receiver. I'm just glad to be on solid ground for now. No clue where to next need to sit till Tomorrow at 1600. YAY Laundry!!!!

Well still sitting at home after my weekly 3 days off, found out my truck is at cat they are chasing an oil leak in the top of the motor, probably won't get it back till wed at the earliest. Never fails, when it's due for a annual DOT inspection, something is always broken. So tomorrow I am going to be doing some day cab work

Going to grill pork chops on the grill tonight, and asparages (Spelling)

I am guessing that the school in NC is contracted.
Central does not have any Terminals in that area. So the rooms, if they have any, will be at a hotel/ motel where they rent them.
Or they may have you on the line for the room. I do not know. Have not had anyone here go to a school in NC, at least not that I remember at the moment.
So you may be the first, and be able to put down your experience with that school here for others to see.

Maybe you can call the 2 stops in Yuma and see if they can load you before you go to san luis

Hopefully I don't have to wait for the truck to bring the lettuce in!
