special service of carolina promised loads but doesn"t delivery you will be home more than on road the whole time work for them i was at home they would tell me that i should come to yard and that way i might get load. i live 20 miles out and you have to leave truck on yard. i told them if they paid for fuel i would do it. they said they thought i didn"t want to work cause i didn"t come to yard everyday and sit up.

 

Dont forget EPES out of Greensboro Nc, they also have terminals in Chester va Valdosta Ga.
Cant spell but u get the idea I've been here a month, and really like them. They really try and get u home when u want.

Also they still hire students i think. All classes are out of greensboro nc

Top notch equipment,friendly atmosphere,eager to help you succeed,good CPM's, and GREAT home time(every week for OTR drivers,unless YOU decide to stay out), they also have local positions, secure terminals. I'm making EPES my home till I retire.

And yes,, they still take recent grads,, I think they start off with a trainer who is mostly an observer(trainer doesn't drive and is paid a salary,not your miles),starting pay for students I think is .31 cpm +
