Does anyone have any info about Elmer Buchta Trucking? Their main terminal is in Otwell Indiana. Is this a good company? I also need to know about their training program.![]()

They run end dumps too and from the coal mines in south western indiana. Trucks are always dirty, mostly macks. I also believe that their Otwell terminal is their only terminal. The things about the coal industry is long hours and low pay. I know a guy who runs a "coal bucket" as they are called in the area and he gets to the coal mine at 3 am. His last load is around 4 pm. I have never worked for them so I do not believe that I am in a position to say anything about them as far as employers.

Been by the place is all I can say, the area has coal, agriculture, and petroleum so it should be a good place for short haul job availability, but I have no idea of pay. I used to pick up turkeys near there.

That it is! I have been out of the industry for a while, therefor finding a company that will hire me isn't easy. Elmer Buchta is willing to consider me for employment so I am willing to relocate. In my opinion it's worth it.
