She is not that young, she is 30 years old, only a couple years younger than me,

 

Complain and brag... gee, like all the OTHER truckers on that show?
Other than maybe Jack, she's the least of the offenders.

I dunno what would constitute "amazing". The show's about (supposedly) driving on the Dalton. She drives on the Dalton. Not her fault if the show sucks.

 

yep this is how i feel. she has this attitude of " i'm a woman so i have to prove myself" yeah great thats fantastic

 

My son was watching this show and wanted me to watch so I did and came out pretty much unimpressed!

BUT I will give credit where credit is deserved. I know my limitations after 32 years and that riding on a frozen lake or river is not in my list of to do things or my bucket list!
I've done my North American driving in below zero temps and on ice covered roads! I've done my repairs while watching my fingers turn blue and feeling my nipples turn into painful points rubbing on my long johns!
They just aren't paying enough for me to even THINK of driving up there!

As for Lisa...Ok shes a hottie! I would NOT kick her out of the truck until I ran out of duct tape, but still she's doing most of a job that 99% of these guys calling themselves truckers couldn't do on a bet or if their lives depended on it!

Not to mention most lady drivers do not have the tools or knowledge to do mechanical repairs on a truck. OR MEN too! I do not expect a lot of women to know this and I do NOT hold it over their heads as a company driver BUT when they decide to call themselves an O/O then I do expect them to pick up a wrench, ask for help while she learns to do what did not come naturally to any human being on the planet!

She does get kudos from me for going where most men refuse to thread! Me included and I don't scare easily! I'll drive into hello with a tanker of fuel but on frozen deep water? Not in this lifetime or the next one if I have any say in the matter!

 

I don't make a habit of watching the show but I have yet to see Lisa do anything mechanical or amazing. Big deal so she drives on the Dalton, she is not the only woman who does it.

Most lady drivers may not have the ability to do things themselves but not all, I have been doing my own stuff on my vehicles since I was a teenager, whether it was 2 wheels, 4 wheels or 18 + wheels, and I look just as good as Lisa does, but I would never get the credit she does because I am not on TV.

 

She needs a make up lesson at a salon or stylist since her mascara sometimes looks like there is a raccoon behind the wheel. Other than that, she can beat me and make me feel cheap anytime.
