TDriver, your right I had some time off, #### sick for Christmas, but that's over. I did a couple of short runs last week and then came out yesterday, currently in Il. waiting to make a 9pm. del., that's the stupid part wasting good daylight, not that this is the norm for me, but I still don't like it. We'll see where they'll send me tomorrow trying to get back home to see the wife on New Year's day? Otherwise drove into snowing Syracuse NY week before last, what a treat, 15 mph. and 4 wheelers doing 360's, but got to receiver safely and went to Buffalo the next day, not as bad there. Took the truck home for Christmas to show the kids and they were impressed, no other choice I guess.:biggrin_25514:

    Be safe.

Was on your website and saw that Canada is in Van Wyk's freight lanes. Was wondering if that is forced dispatch going there. Thanks

Figured I would check in, for some reason post updates take about 6 months to get to my email so I had about 90 updates when I opened my inbox this morning. I've been keeping pretty busy the last 6 weeks splitting time between the East:biggrin_25513: & West:biggrin_25519: Coast. I haven't heard anything about us getting those dopey T700's either, but I would venture to say they are not even in the running mainly due to the weight factor. I am in one of the Volvos and it is a heavy pain in the butt. I picked up a load of apples, onions & taters in Washington and when I weighed I was 79,750 with less than a half tank of fuel. If I was still in my KW I would still have 1,000 pounds of play room to use. I am really hoping that we stick with the T660's or Pete 386's, I never had a single problem with either of those trucks, man wish I could say the same for this 18,000 pound boat anchor! As far as Canada goes I have only been up there once since I hired on & that was only to Winnepeg, needless to say we don't do Canada like Heyl does.

Husker gald to see your busy, I have been running alot of soy products from Va. to Il. or In. then something in between and a Tyson or PM load back. I was in sheldon yesterday while they attempted to fix my Qualcom, well after all day and 3 computer replacements it still doesn't work so I'll get it fixed in Richmond on Monday or Tuesday what a pain in the :biggrin_25516:. I did ask Andy about the 700 he said no also and said the new trucks will be 660's, my pete has 433000 on it so maybe a new one in the summer? I heard some guys love their Volvo's, well they can have them for the reason you mentioned and a few I won't. Be safe.

Are you talking about White Wave down there in Mt. Crawford? I guess we got a rate hike for that place so it'll be a little less painful pulling that stuff back to the Midwest. I've heard quite a few guys talking about the problems they've been having with their Qualcomms, luckily mine has not acted up at all.
