I do not like Texas. I sat for almost 3 hrs in traffic. I had to take I35N/E to get up to US75 that was a bear then I missed the exit and had to take I635E to get back to US75. There was just way to much traffic and not enough lanes. I made it up a bit and found a place to stop for the night. Im just glad to be out of traffic and taking a bit of time to relax.

They told me I can just drop this trailer when I get to my delivery and pick up my next load right after. But the funny thing is my next load doesn't pick up till the 18th when the apt is set for this one. Maybe I can get a 34 out of this. My DM keeps pushing me to just move but the thing is I don't want to be stuck on a load and not be able to go anywhere and be late because I don't have the hrs to do it.

 

I'll hope for a 34 for you - time to relax and recoup - maybe even get a mani/pedi done Have a good nights rest...

 

So we are getting our final ducks in a row. Leave Sunday morning on a plane to SLC for school Monday!Excited and anxiuos! My recruiter told me if I wanted to take my DOT physical ahead of time I could, so I went today ( to put myself at ease) and passed with flying colors! I was concerned about my blood pressure, being 44 and a smoker, it was 108/78 YAY me!

I know what you mean Pan.
I went to that plant one time. Had to deliver potatoes. And then had a reload appt. But it was not for 8 hours. They would not let me stay at the plant so I went to the truck stop.
Some were lot lizards, some kids trying to con you, and some adults trying to con you.
If you went to that place loaded they would rob your load.
That is why the fence to the trailer park is so bashed up. They pop your door while you sleep and steal cases of product.
Called the cops on the lizards and they just laughed at me.

 

Found out about the Hardees down the street that has trk parking and had a peaceful night last night.

Having to use my emergency parking in Columbus, OH tonight. Wasn't sure if I would have any problem or not, but still no security guard here. YEAH. Wasn't sure I was going to find any parking once I left here at this time of night.

Maybe I should have used a different word. Hidden maybe or out of the way. Its one of those spots you find and remember, that you use when needed. I'm at a place that I've delievered to before, that has a big open lot shared by several outfits. Been over a year since I've been here and didn't know if it would still be available. It was.
