accidents on I 80

probly all part of the major snow storm that tore through the area early this week, i imagine.

 

I saw the ones wednesday night. the one i want want to know about is the one that went over the side on the eastbound side.

 

My husband said a Swift driver ran into the back of a parked truck on the side of I-80 and the Swift driver was killed. Dont know if that's the one you saw. He told me about it a couple days ago.

 

I dont think that was the one. it looked like the driver lost it coming down the hill and took down the guard rail and went over the side this was on I80 east in pa near snowshoe.

 

went past there today and wondered the same thing...

 

I saw three that night 1 on its side in the middle, one jackedknifed thru the guard rail trailer blocking the left lane , and the one that went over the guard rail and over the side. it was not a good night to be running light in a spare truck with no way to hook up my radio.

 

Went by there yesterday and they were pulling a flat bed up a steep embankment on the west bound side. It was tore to he** and back. Have not heard any details. Also saw the two trucks on the east bound side. The one that rear ended the other. They were cleaning up and towing them off.The Ceva truck in the median was still there, nothing had been done to it yet. There was a total of 5 18 wheelers and 1 pick up truck off I-80 in less than 100 miles. We also saw where the guard rails on the east side were missing there by Snowshoe. My hopes for a survivor there are very dim. That is a long way down.
