idk about the aftermarket manifold and how big the openings are, if the manifold is bigger at the gaskets then I would think bullydog or pdi or whoever would offer gaskets to match. can't help much there, but your mxs does have the sleeved gaskets. good luck to ya.

Why do you want to leave the sleeves out?

the sleves are there to keep the exh heat in the port and keep the velocity up to help spool the turbo faster. The only down fall to the sleves is if they come apart and go through the turbo. I always install the sleves but some do not.

If you are going to convert to one turbo,I heard exhaust gas gets bad 800-900.Full tilt had some studs and stainless spacers with special 12 point lock nuts.I think they are stronger. While your there the water pump is 6 bolts away,on average they last about 750,000.It would save you around 900 in labor later. My add is messing me up tonight sorry,on the gaskets on the ex manifold id rather not put the inserts in,its one more thing that can ruin your turbo.less parts are better.........Remember to paint while your in there, have a good day

ohhh almost forgot check that wiring harness it can get brittle, its kinda expensive, but I think you can extend it from the front of the head.I would use aircraft wiring ohm is less and real well protected from heat.:biggrin_25514:

IMO Go with the B/model exhaust manifold from cat or salvage yard Why cuz there made in the usa not china.Seen to many cracked webbing on the e/models just make sure you get the correct angle of manifold. There are short cuts to installation you and you dont have to remove the thermostats housing on e/model what I do is remove all the exhaust studs then slide the manifold south on the e/studs closes to the t/stat install studs inside the manifold first then install rest of studs.Use the centering stud tool too!
