It comes out to .265 cents per mile it was 1300 mile run or something like that so around $344 and that doesn't count deadhead. That is a rare low paying load though it all equals out to about 800-1200 a week.

 

Its a fairly simple process. When you get to the hotel sunday night you fill out a real paper application. They include the online app you put in as a reference. You will go through 2 or 3 interviews with a few different people. You will take a driving test that is pretty easy. There is no real physical test there you basically go outside crouch under a trailer, carry a tarp from the front to the back of the trailer. Climb up on the trailer and pick the tarp up on your shoulder. The rest of the week its paperwork and securement training. Pay for orientation is $10/hour up to 10 hours a day.

 

Sorry I haven't posted in a while I've been staying pretty busy and I didn't get home last weekend because I ended up leaving out late. The clutch had to be replaced in my truck.
