    Lake State Transport from St. Cloud,Mn has got to be the worse company yet, anyone even thinking about driving for them better ask around...not only do they lie they also, cheat ask any one of the last 10 drivers that quit[all within three months of each other, they lease you a truck that has been leased out to 4 or 5 drivers prior[thats not legal] and they just got fined $60,000.00 for doing just that, also they steal the drivers fuel sur charge and hold back all advances and lump them together so that once a driver has a large haul they pay off these advances that should have been paid off from prior trips,leaving the driver with a check of maybe $10.00 or less [just to make it look legal] in other words they misappropriate your check on every trip by paying the company bills from your money, as of to date several drivers have filed a lawsuit against Lake State Transport..myself included. Anyone thinking of driving for them good luck!!!

    any of their other drivers on here? this company just called my dh, said he would get 70 % of the pay for the load, never told him he has to lease his truck.
    he is driving for another company right now, they called him on the road.
    I read to him what you posted, nope not going there.

    thanks for the heads up about this company.

    I hope you have learned "lease=bad" and stay away from any of them! If you don't have money to do your own then you can't afford to lease!

    They are some rip off,leasing a truck and they keeping the money telling you that the trailer is to use no charge and fuel they pay for BS.all this time i am paying for everything and fuel.i hope someone is suing them for taking advantage of Drivers who Trusted them in the beginning.

    Leasing (renting) a truck to multiple suckers is perfectly legal. No way they got fined for that.

    They've been a class act for ages ...in 84 I had one of they're doped up drivers pull a gun on me at super value in Fargo nd .
