Well I swapped loads with another driver today just after I picked up in Rochelle IL. I met up with him and I'm taking his load to Tremonton UT. I need to get to WVC so I can get the stuff out of the locker and return the key. Found out yesterday I wasn't supposed to take the key with me. Oh well I should be at WVC on Friday. Need my truck looked at the Check engine light has been on for a while no matter what I do I cant get it to go out. Found a bit of tread missing on one of my drive tires too. I think ill take a 34 when I get to WVC that way they can look at the truck and I can get my stuff. Just hope I don't have too much trouble with this load. I have had bad luck with trailers as of yet and I don't want anything else bad to happen.

Let see what happens when I drive thru the Miami metro area tomorrow. LOL

I knew it! 3 4wheelers played beat the gap today between me and another truck. Someday they're gonna play that and lose! The bigger the city the more aggressive they are. You go through small towns on the back roads they wave at you and let you go. The cities, they pass you and give you the one finger salute. Lol

I do "ok" with the trip planning...
My Trainer just pinches every minute he can... He will stop at a TS to get fuel, he will stop short of the island and go to line 4. Pull to the pumps fuel, pull forward and go to line 2. Go into the store, go to the bath room etc. then go out get in the truck and start driving....
He says he gets an exta 15 to 30 minutes a day driving time doing it that way.

LOL its only about 5 minutes. He is supposed to show at least 10 minutes fueling. Apparently he likes to hurry up and wait.

1badaz good point! You definitely want to try and get a truck with 150,000 to 250,000 on it! Trust me! I have been down that road (well not really more like in the shop) before! This gives the truck ample time to have the bugs worked out by someone else. I've learned this important lesson several times over! Especially as a team. It hurts twice as much when both of you are sitting in a hotel waiting for your truck to be fixed.

Klingon, you know right from wrong. Your trainer should know better than to park on the shoulder of an off ramp. If anything were to ever happen he is liable up to manslaughter for that crap! Worst comes to worst in an emergency park on the on ramp not the off ramp. If Central found out about that he would most likely be S-canned! Same goes for U-turns.

This is a quote from Celticwolf (Central driver) on another thread from yesterday. Perfect reason to not park on ramps!

"Saw a truck rolled last night. this accident took out two trucks on an exit ramp.. I want to say the truck on it's side took he exit too fast, but it waas tough to tell."
