For those of you with shower concerns / questions - I no longer have anything to do with that piece of our business, but once upon a time I ran the entire program. Consider your questions passed on to the right people. I will let you know what I am told.

Not only am I a frequent TA/Petro fueler.... But I am more or less dedicated to their locations for fueling, parking, eating, & servicing my truck when & if needed. I am also a Platinum card holder because of my dedication to TA/Petro & can honestly tell you that there is no different between a regular shower & the platinum shower other then the name plate on the door.HFC Thanks this.

No double mirrors?
No candy/mints?
Probably just less of a wait as there are fewer Platinum card holders? -
ZERO PRIDE!
I have been in a lot of these pigpens....When you walk into a restroom and there's no toilet paper, paper towels or soap, When the place stinks! When the parking lot is more filthy that any other truckstops...It's just a lack of pride!
I've seen decent little truckstops get bought out by these people and within a few months they turn into crapholes!allycatt2 Thanks this. -
Sequoia - I can get you into a Petro Platinum shower on me. You just have to give me some notice and let me know what site you want to visit.

Nothing. Just the same ol' shower with the same ol' wait time. You don't have to be a platinum member to get the platinum shower. If that shower is ready & your the next in line, it's yours!

I see you have been to the Lancaster Travel Plaza in Ronks, PA(just east of Lancaster on 30)

That is EXACTLY what happened to that one! -
In some locations they are also larger. It just depends on if the showers were built or remodeled before or after the program started. You are correct though, shortet lines and far less usage than standard shower.

You tell me this after I'm long past the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Petro.
Actually, knowing that hill you have to travel to get to it, with the freezing rain we had today, I decided not to risk it.
I say this because that's actually my favorite Petro to stop at. They had a deli counter at the fuel desk building that made an awesome macaroni and cheese and this broccoli, cheese and rice casserole.
I'm also really looking foward to seeing the Joplin Petro once construction is complete. I was a little sad that where their deli counter once was (near the fuel desk) now sits a Blimpie's....or has it always been that way and I'm just losing my mind? -
You need to get out of that office & do some field inspections then.
Cause the platinum showers are no different then any other shower in the building.
