How about this; a larger selection of over-priced bobbles to spen my fuel points on......I got $400 worth burning a hole in my pocket...

Fair enough, although I wonder if it has more to do with the nature of the truck stop business than it does their national orgin. I've seen plenty of businesses run by native born Americans that are absolute trash, while I've been to a number of businesses run by foreign born people who were a real pleasure to do business with.

Judging by this forum, it doesn't seem like there are any truck stops that are universally considered to be clean, well-run, pleasant establishments.

To CaptainQ do the undercover Boss. It's on TV and very interesting. To the rest of the drivers here. Come up to Canada and see what our truck stops a like. What you get is a dirt pullout most of the time. No store, no nothing, just a pullout. All the truck stops we did have are now owned by Raj and his family and the pullout looks better. The truth is we don't have much in the western part of Canada. It's sad because I love this country but hate driving a truck in it. The pullouts are no joke, we have lots of those. And the only coffee you get in the morning is the one you make.

More reasons to add to the list of reasons that I have no desire to ever run in Canada again!:biggrin_25512:

    Wuss... :biggrin_2559: :biggrin_2559: j/k

I love driving in Canada, have no problems driving in the US either. Just cannot stand the CB rambo's you have down there.

    Oh yeah....Aren't they cool?

The idiots on the radio are just one of the many reasons that people think truckers are stupid trash!
