It's almost Monday. Christmas is on Saturday. It's 2025 miles and 28.47 hours (legal speed limits) to Tuscon from Greenbay,WI. Do you think they might be setting you up to head home?

This IS trucking. You might NOT get home till Friday night or even Christmas Day but maybe they will get you home!

Me, If by Thursday morning and I have a load and it's NOT heading home I'll be on the internet finding a flight home from an airport on my route and reserving a seat on that big silver bird home. I'll leave Sunday AM to get back to the truck and finish delivering the load and I would be telling that dispatcher these plans as of what ever time he sits his arse in his seat in the morning! I'll bet one of two things will happen. he'll scream 'you can't do that" and something about getting fired or you'll receive a load so fast it'll take your breath away!

I do hope you have that credit card everyone of you should have in that wallet for just this kind of emerency!

To CYA so you do not get an abandoned truck slam on that HireRight DAC report pay a parking fee to a wrecker company or someone who allows truck parking but be sure that that company of yours knows that you will deliver the load on your NEW schedule or let them know when you'll be delivering or what time you'll be pulling into their docks!

But still be prepared to get fired! I truly hope you don't have a lot of crapola in that truck!

Wow do you research these companies
What a truck. You ain't seen getting on one. Leased company to get on another leased company especially swifter the quicker picker upper. Just stay with that bolt. U really don't Wanna. Get screwed any worse. But do some research you truck. Find your preplan. Do you look at maps. Or do read them I guess You just drive. Then I guess that's all you'll settle for is a drive.

There are people willing to drive a truck for that much as long as they are able to get a job. Having a good work ethic is good. Accepting low pay to log and drive for many hours is not. Thirty-one cents per mile for 8 years of experience.....uncompetitive wage that is.

Eagle KLM out of Tuscon was one of the first companies I made contact with before even going to trucking school.

I have been pre-hired with them and they have been very courteous with me when I had any questions.

I know they lease with Werner and I have some very strong reservations about that.
Werner was definitely not going to be one of my choices because I have heard and researched so much negative things about that company.

Does Werner wag Eagles tail? (or feathers!)

This company (Eagle) is very hard to find any information on.
I even tried the FMCSA website to no avail.

Any information would be appreciated, but I think I might scratch Eagle from my list of carriers to start my career with.
