Hey thanx 4 the info. Glad ur mostley happy. I will have my CDL in a week. 11/10/2010 Thinking of going w/ them and partly due to the 12 students being put thru the school (FTA) in Asheboro now. I am clean past 5 yrs on DMV record other than a fine for improper equip. Trying to make it home on a flat is frowned upon up north. Also a Class A posession that was a con't without a finding and a year probation. Finished that and now saysdisposition revoked. that was 3 and a half years ago. any worry about that?
Any help with that question appreciated. Thanx!!!

Most of the information in that post you quoted it out of date. There's another thread called "Central Refrigerated Truck Stop" that has more up to date information. I would suggest skimming the last 30 pages or so, see if your questions are answered in there. It's full of current and past Central Drivers, and current students.

Do not lease a truck!! It is a three party lease, Central leases the main lease from a leaseing company and releases to drivers. You never see their contract, but they will tell you they (Central) is 100 percent responsible for the truck. You have NO control over your business, and you are forced dispatched! You pay centrals bills and that is all they care about, at end of lease the truck will still cost you $67,000 to buy it. They don't want you to buy it, they want you to continue to lease.

Pedromorales Thanks this. -

NO NO NO, hardly ever complain and my lease is almost paid, I did some investgation to buy truck, the lease is a third party lease with all responsibility on Central. A lease operator pays Centrals bills the drivers are considered smucks, and dumb, they laugh all the way to the bank.
Pedromorales Thanks this. -
Screw Central, they used me, I intend to use them all the way to the bank.Pedromorales Thanks this.
