Pretty long day as I had to start late with a 1700 p/u. Pondered a couple of different routes up to Buffalo but decided to go with the one they suggested although I think my other one is probably better. Sitting at a small store off I-83 exit 32 (not marked in the small truck stop guide, has about 10 or so spots for parking) in PA. Heading toward the western part of Ontario about halfway between Toronto and Detroit. Snow hasn't started yet but the temp is creeping to freezing and it is drizzling rain so tomorrow might be pretty nasty. Won't be starting until 1100 or so so hopefully things will be ironed out by then.

I was jealous of your not getting to the land up north! Been there 5 times last year. Mind you all of them were in the Nov and Dec. lol
I don't like Toronto at all! And whoever said the states should take notes on their highway system? PLEASE!!! I don't mind getting out away from the city and quite honelty it seems better in daylight! It just gets dark so quick up there. I guess like anything else the more you are there the easier it is.

It ain't glamorous work but ####, don't be too lazy to sweep out your trailer. Called about some directions this morning and low and behold before I got off the phone the dispatch noticed that my load had been moved to deliver on Friday. So I managed to get that load relayed off to a driver just south of Buffalo. Swapped trailers and rolled on into Niagara Falls to the paper plant and checked in and then went back out to make sure the trailer was clean and found 10 4ft 2 X 4's in the trailer along with two nice nails still in the floor.
Hoping to get loaded tonight and perhaps roll on south a ways but several trucks in front of me so may just call it a night here after I get loaded. Got 580 miles to customer which I should be able to knock out easily tomorrow barring unforeseen weather problems.
Had a really beautiful ride by Williamsport, PA today and then along the snow covered hills of US 15. Unfortunately my team never made it to the LLWS but I think they picked a fine place to have that tournament from the looks of what I saw today.

Hey I was in Williamsport today, for my physical.
Thought a #### USX driver was gonna run me over on the way down there, going through steam valley he was flying. No signals for lane changes, and just plain too close before he changed lanes lol.

Well I definitely didn't get paid what I deserved today:) Didn't get loaded until 5 am or so. Second time I have loaded at that plant in Niagara and the second time wasn't any better than the first time. So not much sleep last night makes for a long day particularly when you are dealing with ###### weather and roads the whole way.

Left out of Niagara Falls around 8 and didn't have a whole lot of trouble until the loop around Columbus which was just packed with folks and no work had been done of the roads basically all the way from there to about mm 20 along I-70. Always a blast driving down the interstate when you can't see any lines:) Decided to stop at Eaton since I didn't have the hours left to make it to the customer tonight. Perhaps will have the time to make the original arrival time in the morning if the roads cooperate but if not supposedly the time is pushed back 2 hours.

    Pretty much bushed.

A fairly easy day today although pretty #### chilly. Got up early and headed on in to customer. Got the paper off reasonably quickly and already had a preplan to pick up a preloaded trailer back in Indy and take her to the drop yard in Cincinnati. First time that I had been to the Cincy drop area and happened to be at the perfect exit as wrecks were in both directions on I-275 before and after the exit. Got another load as quick as that one was dropped. Picks up tomorrow in Old Fort, OH and drops in York, PA (been to both places before so should be relatively pain free). Got another preplan lined up after that which unfortunately has an ending in Brampton, ON but what the hell I am rolling:) A little update for the year so far below.

Been thinking about getting one of the blue tooth cobras and as luck would have it someone was selling one in the truckstop tonight so went ahead and bought it. Unfortunately it doesn't have the manual to go with it so going to have to do some work in figuring out how to set it up.

That was me. I'm just talking about the way the main stretch is through Toronto....when I went through there it was so smooth and steady.
