when your rollin down the road say in Mobil, AL. or in south florida in the summer when its 100 plus outside and the humidity is through the roof, does your trucks a/c unit keep you as comfortable as the a/c in my daily driver (pickup) or does it work really hard to keep up...I was just wonderin....

In summer, I usually will set the bunk A/C unit on low to assist the front one in keeping the truck interior cooled down. I also park as much as possible to make use of natural shade and keep the incoming sun out of my widshield as much as possible. I stay comfortable, as does my dog.

The '04 Volvo VN I drive will get too cold if I bump the fans up to the medium level for very long. Frosty....

Freightliner coffin would get too cold, I ran the front on low most of the time, the condo won't keep up when it's really hot, some of the guys with rigmasters run them in addition to the main when it is really hot out.
