    i am open to suggestions i intended to run the box on level 2 and remove the knob. mostly looking for the added response (i could care less about hp i am on a quest for mpg)

    I know 2 O/O that run a PP box and both burnt their motors up! The 1 said he got hooked on the higher settings and run it there... for about a month. He had a friend at the Detriot dealer they were able to slide it under the radar as a warranty repair (scored liners). The other said he rarley if ever turned it past 3 which is supposed to be "safe". It did not last very long either. His was out of warrranty.
    For fuel mpgs I would suggest doing the simple stuff 1st. like free flowing mufflers. If you want to do the PP box or the like I would look for someone that could "tune" the ecm. PDI and others. If PDI can do for your Detroit what it did for my Cat, and I assume they can, I would go that route.
