I took and passed my road test yesterday, :yes2557: so I'm in the tv room waiting until everyone is finished. We have four more waiting to test. I'll be the grey haired shorty sitting at the laptop, unless I go out for a smoke break. I brought my laptop so my classmates, who are my wonderful new friends,:biggrin_25514: can let their families know on facebook. They will know where I'm at....:biggrin_25525:

    Congratulations on passing!

It is amazing how often we run into each other at shippers and recievers. Sure brightens up the day to see a familiar face.

Don't forget to flash your lights when crossing paths with another Central driver. And remember that most of our terminals the company channel is channel 5 (In case you want to chat but don't want the distraction of all the others on 19).

The Challenger, Raincatcher and Lady K Thank this.

Depend on your definition of lots. I only use 2 spider bundles and 8 9" bundles on my drive axle. Sometimes you need to take a crosslink off on a brand new set, otherwise you can use a ton of bungees and you will still lose your chains.

I'll go with what you said - I've only heard about it - haven't put chains on (yet) - I'm sure my time will come though :biggrin_25523:

It's not hard! Just can be exhausting depending on typed ties and chains. I have heavy duty tryyg chains and for a pair of duals weighs over 100 lbs. LOL

I'm sitting in the Kenworth dealership in Denver I have been here since 1030 this morning and I have no clue when they will be done. They do have a shower and laundry so I was able to take a shower and just freshen up a bit. But I know I still have a few hrs to hang out here. Will be happy when I get sleep in my truck though. The chairs are comfortable but just not exactly what I would call in the best shape.
