I shot the breeze with a mail hauler once from Youngstown all the way to the Windy City once. Back in my outlaw days (the ones I don't admit to anymore
), I used to run over hours all the time. Jawing on the radio would keep me awake long enough to get that one last run done so's I could finally get me about 4 hours of sleep, and get back after chasing them dollar signs. Got older and found out them dollar signs are still running away. I'm just to tired to run after'em any more. Of course, those were the days were two of three (or 4, or 5, or 6) drivers would all ######### together. Not like today where everbody's fightin' and cursin' or just behaving badly...

3 hours, i was hauling reefer and the guy in front of me was hauling tanker, it was like 2 in the morning and we were running through the VA and WV mountains. I know we had to have talked back and forth for close to 3 hours.

One of the longer, more recent cb conversations I can recall having were this past Monday, as a matter of fact. Another driver and I rode from Mortons Gap, KY, to Effingham, IL, then back to Mortons Gap, KY.
Another recent one, was myself and another driver going from Princeton, KY, to Louisville, KY, to Bowling Green, KY.
There's also a number of others I have ran across, lately, and are shorter compared to those two. Most of them have been running with drivers from Nashville, TN, to Bowling Green, KY, or Clarksville, TN, to Mortons Gap, KY.
Good CB radio conversation is something I miss, at times. -
Next time we go back to my wifes home town in Kentucky I'll have to lissen for you
-
Probably won't be able to miss me ...haha!

Longest I ever talked was about 3 hours with a guy from Minneapolis to Tomah WI. An another time for 2 an a half from Madison to Milwaukee. Funny the only places I've ever really chatted a long time with anyone was in the midwest.
