first week of training

    :biggrin_25526:hello friends cavemann checking back in well spend first week with trainer all went well but i must say dont like all that paper work had me all mess up for a while still working on that.being going down to gulfport ms from ky two trips in one week 9hr drive one way. butt kind of sore dont have time to eat much this truck driving is not easy kidds if your looking for easy job this is not it i speak the truth.hope things goes well next week. geting some rest now go back out monday mon so thats it friends truck driving is hard work know that now for sure.

    Well just got in from second week of training. Had a werner driver run me off the road in nashville tn monday night my trainer went off he say see what kind of driver's are out here. But the rest of the week went well but i will be watching other truck drive's Looking for feed back on this. cavemann.:biggrin_2556:

    thats good to hear your thoughts. im planning on to be a trucker, but i came up with idea is to start with locals before interstate jobs. i know trucking can be tough job at times. depends what do, and where you heading to :p good luck with rest of your training

    It gets much easier once you get acclimated to it and on your own
    don't let anyone/thing run you off the road, that deer or other truck or whatever becomes hearsay after the fact.
    HAAHAA NOT LIKELY, but may be possible. thought the same thing when i started looking into getting my CDL 4 years ago

    Thanks for the updates, its good to know how things are going plus others getting into the career will have an idea of what lies ahead. Keep both eyes peeled in "Hillbilly Hollywood" lol.

    :biggrin_25513::biggrin_25524:rocknroll nik. yeah i have to go tho nashville 4 times a week my run is to gulfport ms. i see a crash every time i come tho there and by the way them people can't drive on snow in n-ville . what happen is this i was in the midle lane a lady in a ford was in the fast lane the werner driver was in the slow lane his lane run out when our trucks was side by side so he just came on over run me out of my lane so i went over in the fast lane with the other lady but not so far as to run her off the road.but what i dont understand is he had the emergency lane to get around me. thanks to my friends for your input. cavemann..
