#2 is a moot point. There are 2 places to turn around. One is wide enough to swing the whole truck around in.

99% of the responders have the same opinion as me(since it is a no brainer and very cut and dry situation), but I'm playing super trucker?...If using common sense makes me that, I'll take i!...THANK YOU!

You know Walstip, it's not that for the most part we don't all agree the guy messed up, and is responsible, but your superior attitude rubs me wrong too.

I have been driving a truck for over 10 years now, and yes, I make mistakes. I am human.

I am sure you will never be in a situation where you are in unfamiliar territory, make a wrong turn, follow your GPS blindly into a neighborhood and then sit there and in one panicked split second make a bad decision.

I hit a low metal post in Dallas a few months ago, when I got lost by making a wrong turn into a neighborhood and it was tight. I only damaged the bumper, no big deal, had it fixed and on I went. Was I at fault? Sure, I should have made a right, not a left. Could it have been prevented, oh sure again. You have to make split second decisions every day, and sometimes you make the wrong ones.

Get off your trainers truck and see how you feel the first time you drive at night, it's raining, and you just have to get someplace. And you can't see the signs, because someone stole them before you got there (and yes, that happens a lot).

Let's just say, I hope you fall off that high horse you are sitting on, without hurting anyone else. Because you will make mistakes, we all do. We are human.

I am thinking you are off your trainers truck now, so you will have one of those nights where it's raining or snowing, and you just have to get someplace. And you can't see the signs, because someone stole them before you got there (and yes, that happens a lot).

If you add inflection to my posts that was not intended, I can't help you with that...I've made mistakes and posted them, just because you haven't read them doesn't mean they didn't happen...Sorry to burst your bubble...

And no trainer here, been solo since day one driving 3000+ miles a week(on average) mostly in bad weather and many times at night in bad weather, it's winter...

If you have a personal issue with me, PM me, it doesn't belong in the forums...

I don't know you enough to have an issue with you. I did say that you must be off your trainers truck now, good for you.

And as this is a public forum, I get to post my opinion, as do you and everyone else.
