    No idea. The spaces exist on our logs, so it can't be wrong to use them. When I worked for an LTL company they insisted that we wrote the info in every case. I don't think anyone is going to get grief from the DoT for giving too much info.

    Next time I get pulled into a scale, I'll ask. As I'm now writing it on my logs, I won't be worried about the response.

    what does Commodity means wat im hauling? for example if i have girl scout cookies on my truck i wll put that as my Commodity

    Always used B.O.L. # and commodity for hazmat..... heavily checked and always approved.

    Regarding a bear reaching for something.....got a ticket for no sleeper restraint device........ I said but it's a single operation ! He said tough....if it was made with it..it's got to be there!

    I thought the bears could only enter a sleeper to check that it was of legal dimensions for the drivers comfort etc?

    I'm sure I've read that somewhere. Sounds like a very fightable ticket to me.
