Are canadian rules the same as ours, on this subject ?
-
No idea. The spaces exist on our logs, so it can't be wrong to use them. When I worked for an LTL company they insisted that we wrote the info in every case. I don't think anyone is going to get grief from the DoT for giving too much info.
Next time I get pulled into a scale, I'll ask. As I'm now writing it on my logs, I won't be worried about the response.123456 Thanks this. -

Wow, this is basic logging,
wonder what the rest of the page looks like ????? -
Always used B.O.L. # and commodity for hazmat..... heavily checked and always approved.
Regarding a bear reaching for something.....got a ticket for no sleeper restraint device........ I said but it's a single operation ! He said tough....if it was made with it..it's got to be there!123456 Thanks this. -
I thought the bears could only enter a sleeper to check that it was of legal dimensions for the drivers comfort etc?
I'm sure I've read that somewhere. Sounds like a very fightable ticket to me. -
they can come in and do whatever they want....in the U.S.A anyway not sure aboot you guys eh'

No but if found, it goes under fatigued driving. Isn't that nice?
I think they need an absent minded section.
