It's not any easier getting into Canada. As for immigration here, forget it. I know a guy that was born in Montreal to a us citizen and brought here when he was a baby. He went to school here and spent most of his life here. He's now 30 years old and immigration still hasn't given him any paperwork.

Sorry my attempt at a Rush Limbaugh impersonation and pointing out the stereotype of this woman's ethnicity and choice of profession.

Well geez I want to be stuck in Canada!

The BIG mistake here is the driver taking his "UNDOCUMENTED WIFE" into another country. His/her-their fault!
CAN NOT DO THE TIME, DO NOT DO THE CRIME!
I am for AMNESTY! If it can be proven the the individual has been a productive/tax paying citizen since coming into the country illegally, then give them every right to be here, and get screwed by the government the same way a U S Citizen does!
Everybody talks about how the the undoc's wll take their jobs! not so. Most immigrants are poor illiterate people anyway, the ONLY job most of them can get are the very menial ones that you and I are not going to do! Is any of us going out to pick grapes? pull the Apples out of orchards? I for 1 am not! -
It would probably cheaper and easier to simply order a new one.

Xiao Ping Chen is a massage therapist...

This is an excerpt from the news article!
I do believe reading comprehension would have helped in this case unless this guy realized he made a boo boo after marring her and isn't as dumb as we are making him out to be!
How easier a way to get rid of a wife other than, well, killing her and feeding her to the gators? Take her to another country and "Well gee wizz did we goof or what?"
If he had taken her to Mexico she would be at home right now! it's easier to get from Mexico than Canada! She aparently doesn't want to come home because it isn't that hard to walk through half those forrests as the Border Patrol is a lot weaker on the north side than the south side of the US! -
If she was here legal and was not deported then there is no five year ban.She must be a resident of canada to be employed there. Being married to an american citizen she could have applied for a 10 green card while in the united states. There is no fraud commited if she met her husband after she entered the US.Returning to canada she gave up this visa. It was most likely for a one time entry. What needs to be done is contact an immigration attorney and apply for a cr-1 which is a visa for a foregin spouse.
