It's not that hard to double check to see if they are right. I've always recommended taking along all the pocketbooks you can that pertain to your load and truck. At the least every driver should have his own copy of the green FMCSR's. But it's also stupid to make statements like you've done here. Sure we asked the guys swinging from the rope but we just couldn't understand them! Plus if you think jumping into another drivers inspection is going to help then you're out in wonderland.
The best policy is to be polite, courteous, and friendly. If you find yourself being pulled in all the time then it's time to find out why. If you like to have some type of protection there's plenty of law services that can help. I personally choose to do everthing I can legal and it's worked for me for the pass 20 years. So I don't need anyone's help for expert witness unless it's in the courtroom. Thank you anyway.

Hi, most time when i'm parked, i have a big thing behind me called a trl , therefore i dont understand all the fuss about tape on the sleeper, most time its coverd in oil film or salty grime ,89 percent time im going down the road pulling that big box, so how is it they see the tape on the sleeper or mudflaps, now on the other side of the coin , i totaly agree with em,so i'd just say this just nickpicking at its finesest, bad enuff we poor truckdrivers get a big fine for it, when it onlys takes a sec with a old towel you bought a goodwill for 50 cents that you can throaway, but for me strecthing too top of sleeper is a strecth for me, i'm only 5-2
, but neverless i usally take my push broom and give em a towel over that and a quik whipe, i myself never been stopped for tape and went thru some of the worst and some of best chicken coops , thru all levels of inspections, the best thing i found out is just nodded a lot and your thankyou and yes mam or no sir and i sign the dotted line and most time i'm let off with a warning and for any you rember the red orgon plate, yes i went thru orgon , red light came on at coop, i knew i was okay for weight , bridge everything was ok, i had load of feather pillows too washton, id just said what the heck, went around back parked , went in didnt want too say anything , told me go out get that red plate off the front, come back in did , and she was a bit lonley , and i was no hurry , so we broke out the cards en played 500 till 1 am when her shift ended , she was a nice lady wacthed alot trucks go thru , few come inside, it was neet to wacth how everything worked,
but ya if you treat weigh house with respect, thats what you gonna get back, same way with shippers and recs too,

Now for me i follow that little green book too the letter and yes i made the shop guys mad at me, when i blew a driver in okee and went withoutout a mudflap, clear back too yard clear up in wis, i would not leave the yard till they put a mud flap hanger andmud flap and tape like its suppsed too be , i made everyboby mad that day oops , but like i told em that my paycheck thats paying that fine , this company dont pay fines likes that, so i sit till it fixed , so ether way i got fined by company for a day late on load as i was in the yard or be fined a day late behing the coop and 300 dollers for tech guy too come out and fix it, i choosed the yard, then boss caught wind of it , looked at me and told me i was right and told em put all new drives on, this one our hardest working drivers here, never seen so many guys moves so fast, i told boss man that wasnt neccesary so i get new drives and a mudflap

I'm sure glad they took took that show off the air called trick my truck ,they ruined more trucks and put more drivers outa job, why becuse non of the trucks have dot lighting, no tape anywere, no dot lettering or company names or any readable markings, these trucks are now overgrown rv for truckshows of what i seen on the show and i'm sure by altering the front axel so its sets lower, i'm sure there's a federal regulation in there too for that , i like too be there as he get his first load and two miles get down the road and bam ,chicken coop, gets pulled around back for a full blown inspection, i bet his pencil will run out lead before he gets down,

www.infowars.com is a good site to read if you want to understand why I am dead-set against federal control of our industry. You all have missed the main reasons for my resistance. I can sit and explain it to ya until I'm blue in the face, but until you wake up to the real threat facing drivers today, you will keep driving down the road of your ultimate destruction. I'm here to warn ya that the bridge is out ahead, but choose for yourself whether you will take the time to verify what I, or anyone else has said regarding a centralized power structure.
I am medicineman Thanks this. -

You're in the wrong place for your soapbox. Besides, I planned ahead and now retired. So the MAN works for me. -
I disagree. This forum is exactly where I need to speak out and I'll tell ya why. I have a passion to defend the trucking industry because it has provided for my friends and family. I believe that drivers are some of the hardest working, but misinformed people in America ( don't believe me? Just ask a room full of drivers how to split log... But I digress). if I can wake up one driver to the real threat facing them, than I have done my job. This "soapbox" is exactly where this info needs to be given. As far as you personally being prepared by retiring, that's a really selfish attitude, we are all American brothers and sisters out here. Sounds more like you ran away than face the pro lems your generation created, but again, I digress...
