Twin Turbo Accert Cat Replacement

    Thanks Gator Bait for the pics and information. I have talked to Pittsburg Power awhile back and they can make it into a 6NZ buy doing what you have mentioned for a price tag of around $13,500. I would not consider this option until the motor went down.

    I am interested in what owners are paying for these turbo's and is it best to replace both of them even if just one is bad?

    Yeah but I've seen alot of accerts being rebuilt around 400+...

    Cat really out did themselves with these motors.

    Whitey over on the other forum just had his rebuilt. Only had a little over 400 on it, I think. Maybe his was around 600k but I know someone else who just had theirs done too with relatively low miles.

    Its a bw/full tilt exhaust manifold,4 cans of cat paint.I pack of advil,and my wifes checkbook:biggrin_25517:

    Hey John, get ahold of Pullingtrucker, he just replaced one of his a few months ago. I'm sure he will be more than happy to call you and explain everything that went on.

    2005, BXS, over 1.6 million when finally sold, never overhauled. This comapny turned them on the yard, NC to Ca and back. The oil was changed on schedule, and trucks were greased every trip.

    Some of them will last.

    I just talked with a guy today thats having real good luck with his and getting over 7mpg....

    Too bad they are few and far between.
