NO..only the daily pay what you get for driving abroad..60$..same you can get driving to west or south instead with much less hazzle.
Because of the corrupt Custom officials on the Russian side of our border the queues can be up to 50km´s and last for days so the Answer is No.
Hardly any Finns are driving to Russia anymore so Russians come over here, at least as long as we don´t start to have road tolls.
Actually many Russians use US-trucks so they can´t either take max lengths or loads so they aren´t that much of a threat yet to our business.
The main reason for taking the ferry is price, the Ferry price for a truck is cheaper than a Trucks fuel consumption plus drivers pay (two days) round the North, also the driver gets the daily rest in the Ferry so it saves time too.
Rest Assured there´s roads plenty up north but the eastern Swedish coast is quite "fun" if you like much elevation changes and slippery conditions...

Trucks are C510 Kenworths powered by Cummins QSK 19 Rated at 600 HP , 1950 ft lbs of torque. Gearboxes are RTLO 22918 18 SPEED Roadranger , Drive axles are Meritor hub reduction , Suspension is Hendrickson R1000, Tyre size is 1400.
The third trailer in the combination is a power trailer , Tri drive powered by a Cummins ISX 450 HP. With a 5 speed Allison Automatic gearbox running through three Meritor Hub Reduction drive axles.
They get a payload of 315 ton of Coal on the five trailers , Total GCM is between 450 and 500 Ton. Top speed is about 75 kph.
Takes a Cat 992G Loader about 15 minutes to load them and tipping them off takes about ten minutes. -
Wow that thing must really suck the fuel!
