Mothballs would work good on the smell, but I don't know if they'd be good for ya in a closed cab.

Man, I used to ride in trucks with carneys that got by for a couple of weeks on GoJo baths, this thread brings back bad memories! (insert bigpuke smiley here please)

Hmm Vick's sounds good about right now. I think I caught the Flu. A few days ago my body was hurting all over and today I cannot stop sneezing and feel like crap.

Well I am off to get some sleep in a real bed!! I will check back in the morning and I may take my notebook with me this time so I can get online.

    Will update soon.

I'm sorry injun that you think this doesn't appear incredulous to those who have had to share a truck with a trainer/mentor. Mine was a smart ##### old "know-it-all" who had no patience for new drivers. (so how did he end up a trainer?) But we did stop to eat and shower regularly. As to the odor Bluebonn, may I suggest a can of Glade aerosol air freshener to be used very liberally. VERY liberally if ya get my hint. I'm certain he will also. But then again, he may enjoy it. If he does, tell him to give you a dollar. At this point, all bets are off. Have you considered writing a short paperback novel chronicling the tribulations of having to subject ones self to the whims of a 'truck boy'? Just sayin:biggrin_25519:

If I feel like I'm getting sick I'll start drinking more orange juice and getting more sleep. Seems to do the trick. A few weeks ago I felt like I was getting sick and along with more sleep and orange juice I bought some Dayquil/Nyquil and cough drops. Ended up not even needing the medicine and only used a few of the cough drops.

Aw geez, when I was thinking about driving, I wondered what it'd be like to be in the truck with a sick co-driver, hacking, gagging, wheezing, sneezing...payback for your rotten trainer, eh? Spew in his direction, maybe he'll feel more like a shower then...or not!
