I would be interested in those responses too... Klingon has gotten a couple different answers depending on who he talks to...

    Klingon Thanks this.

You should get layover for the days you are sitting. Per each 24 hours.
At least that is how it use to be. I think it was only like 50 bucks a day though.
Then at shippers and receivers it is like 16 bucks an hour for detention. That pays starts after the first 2 hours. With a max of 8 hours.

These are old numbers. But probably have not changed.

yeah, the book says $50 per day, I am just wondering if they still pay it or did away with it last year with all the other types of pay, ie.. on time, guaranteed home time, etc...

If there is anyone else in the 'Lodge' in Fontana - that is on the forum here - we could always meet and head out to the Denny's for dinner :D

Layover pay is $40 a day. It got cut back when they did away with on-time bonuses. (2009)

I was never real successful getting the $40 unless it was for breakdown or something like that. May have more to do with who your DM is.

Detention pay is still the same.

That's a negative, the only law that requires fingerprint check is to get HAZMAT endorsement or TWIC card for ports, Central does not require you to have either one of them. Maybe prime does, but Central does not, neither does Werner who I drive for now.
