Thank you Celadon. I've been telling drivers for years that past convictions do not ever go away from the shared FBI/RCMP files that immigration on both sides of the border uses. I had a dui back when I was 21 (before it was even a felony) and all these years later it's still there.
And yes, when I moved down here Immigration found it too. -

there would be no question on whether they could cross border if they would get a fast card--i know its another expense--but its really worth it-it speeds up the crossing alot
a passport only shows what country you are a citizen of--even charles manson can get a passport -
I had one misdemeanor and one felony from the early 90's. Both expunged pursuant calif. penal code 1203.4. Legally on an application I can answer the question "No convictions". I dont have a CDL yet, but applied for a FAST card anyways, I told them about the convictions, showed the expungement paperwork, and my app. was processed and Im invited for an interview to get my card. -
when you go for your interview--tell the truth--i tryed to ignore a couple facts until the girl told me"when i ask a question,i already know the answer"
my memory improved very quick -
was that in regard to past convictions, or anything else.
what kind of interview can I expect? you can pm a reply if you wish. -
