Well I just got home from my second appt of the hometime and I have lots of good news!!

The first good news is that yesterday I saw my doctor for a check up on my BP, all was good! My medicine is working as it should, my BP is in normal range. He said that if I could loose some weight it would bring it even lower and maybe even low enough where I don't need med anymore so I am gonna work harder on losing some weight before my next appt (in May).

When I got out of my BP check up yesterday I called the place I got my physical done to let them know that I got the form they needed signed taken care of and to set and appt to finish up my physical today. I passed and have my 1 year DOT Physical card!!! I was dissapointed when I found out you can't get a two year card if you are on BP meds but it's just more motivation to be off them by next year.

I have an appt to get my vision test on Thurs. and either today or tomorrow I will be going to the DDL office and turning in my CDL application. I will hopefully be taking my permit test by friday of this week or early next week :D

Thanks everyone for your continued support and encouragement!

No more news yet but I leave in about 1 hr 45 mins for my eye appointment so hopefully everything goes smooth there.

It's been crazy the past few days which is why I haven't been posting more (on this thread and all of the ones I'm subscribed too which includes many of yours) but I am gonna try and catch back up in the next day or two. Hope you all are doing good.

Hey Katey, that's great news! There is always some hurdle when becoming a trucker, its never, ever just straight forward. No biggie on the one year medical card, they do it for a lot of reasons. Good luck you are almost there!
