Info. on Metal?

I just switched companys a couple months ago and they were coming to where I picked up all the time so I saw them quite often...Aside from pretty ratty looking equipment, I dont know much otherwise. But I definately know the equipment is looking pretty rough.

 

Are you talking about Metal Transport out of NY?

 

they have really nice 379 petes..they take reall good care of them my unlce drove for them back in 03 but not for long hes not into the flatbeding

 

I do njot think M.T.S. out of oswego ny is in business any more if that is who you are talking about, I might be mistaken, they used to come into alcoa, massena ny(cutting our rates) I havent seen one on the road in a couple years now that I think of it

Right now I own a 10 wheeled yard jockey, it needs a new rearend and now a complete engine rebuild, I was running dedicated heavy haul(109,000#) to Montreal out of local zinc mine but they shut down. I have financing for another tractor, but waiting till warmer weather, hopefully things will pick up. I will be going to either landstar, Mercer for flatbed work. I have also been looking at Sammons, they haul equipment into local Army base. I have done that work before and it pays very GOOD

 

Metal Trans is still in Oswego NY. Where'd u guys get your info?

 

Actually MTS is under a new name, Xxpress Transportation. Google it to find their site, still based out of Oswego and the trucks are the same color as when they were MTS. My husband worked for MTS a long time ago back in 1997 lol..
Their site doesn't have much to it, says it's based out of Utah, but that's the Oswego phone number, googled it and it's listed for MTS lol.
