Fed DOT already requires the company name on the trucks, along with the DOT #.
-
Lilbit Thanks this.
-
Michigan requires the city and state portion to be displayed as well.
-
Just another reason to stay out of IL.
Lilbit, HaulnHorses, Ranger_309 and 1 other person Thank this. -
This law is mainly aimed at the guys who run with no markings what ever on the truck.
Many of the "haulers" put no info on their vehicles.
They are not looking at properly marked vehicles. -
So if we mark just company business name, and DOT number,
we are NOT legal in michigan ? -
123456 Thanks this.

We put all of our decals on the sleeper sides. Company name, truck number, all the DOT numbers, locations, GVW's, etc.
All there nice and easy to see. Makes the truck look much cleaner as well. No one has to look all over for info, it is right there for them.
