Sorry, but I disagree. There will always be a percentage of society that wants more than they earn because they spend more than they earn.

It makes me mad now that I read it. :biggrin_25522:

lostrucker has misconstrued ethics. There's a difference between taking the last piece of pizza and commiting a crime.

Trucking is built on trust. You can't play the game, you have no business in it.

I try hard to live by this saying" do what is right even if you have to do it alone".

I ask myself a question before I do somethings. would I want my kids to see me doing this. I have found that if I live by those to sentences I like the person that looks back at me in the mirror.

Worst beating I ever saw..... EVER .... was in a TS in Ohio.
Guy got caught siphoning, with a pump, from tanks.

I can't say I would pass up "cheap fuel" from an O/O or L/O .... but if i knew it was company fuel being sold for a fact then NO WAY.

Sometimes I know the O/O or L/O gets short on hard cold cash and may sell some.
Not $3 fuel at $1 a gallon though (in my experience).

Maybe the question here should be "What price do YOU put on your Honor?"
Cause there's not much wiggle room between stealing fuel from the tanks and stealing freight from the trailer.
Or even stealing from other drivers.

There was a time when you could drop your wallet in the crapper and you'd get it back with everything intact if another driver found it.
Nowadays you might not ever see it again.

    Sad times.
