If it was ammonia and bleach I believe you would end up with mustard gas. I don't know what the active ingredients are in Drano, so who knows what they ended up with.

Did that once when I worked at a convenience store as a teenager - I was going to clean the floor REALLY good. It doesn't make mustard gas, but it makes a heckuva cloud - kicked the mop bucket out the back door and after spilling, grass didn't grow there for 6 months.

Bleach and amonia = chlorine gas I believe
But, certain pool chemical and bleach equals Bromine Gas. Its a dark red or brownish gas, heavier then air. I as a kid, got the tiniest smell of bromine once, and am lucky to be alive. I think some toilet bowl cleaners are capable of producing bromine.

The 274 TA there has the smokeshack on the fuel island. The best pulled pork and smoked brisket you can get at a TA. Cant see eating anything else when going threw there.

    Bleach mixed with an acid.

Hydrocloric acid and bleach will make that . . . found that out when some idiot put bleach in a toilet in an office building I was cleaning years ago. :biggrin_25521: I was not a happy person about that.
