TRUCKS - Which would you choose?

A truck is not just a truck is right . You have to spend alot of time in it so why not drive something you like. To the guys that dont care what they drive or how it looks thats whats wrong with trucking, no pride anymore. Its not just a tool its a reflection on you and your company.

 

I love my truck. Nothing like a freightshaker. Its been reliable and has made me money. Thats all i really care about. And it looks #### good after a few small modifications.

 

Just got into a freightliner columbia fleet truck. Always drove petes. This thing is noisy inside, rattles, wind noise,idling when you sleep sounds like the engine is in bed with you. Not appealing to the eye. Have to admit the petes have a more inviting feel for living in them, and of course quieter,more comfortable and better quality. But as most people said, a truck is a truck and I just have to consider myself lucky to have driven petes for 5 years of my career. alot of people know nothing but fleet trucks so maybe thats why Im having a hard time adjusting. I dont miss squeezing between the seats of those petes though. LOL

Chrome? Jams radar? ROFLMFAO! Oops it fell off anyway!
DUDE! Chrome reflects radar just as well as paint, glass and plastic! Now FLAT black paint CAN hinder the reflectivity of something (kind of like the stuff the military uses on it's fast movers), but that jams thing is about as stupid as the rumor that crumpled up aluminum foil behind hub caps scrambles radar! Hub caps ARE metal so the radar isn't penetrating anything as it's not XRays! Just some of the stupid stuff drivers come up with while sitting all day long looking out a windshield!

Chrome just looks good because if it jammed radar then you'd see nothing BUT chrome trucks on the road!

Who fed you this line of crapola?

PLEASE name him so we ALL know who to laugh at!

In case you didn't know it, that laser used by police, they actually look through the "scope" and aim towards SHINEY stuff like chrome, headlights, windshield or any part that will reflect the beam. Unless it's the type that takes a picture when shot then it's usually the tag or windshield.
