I am here in Springfield for Monday's Orientation. They allowed me to do my simulator test today which was pretty cool. It reminded me of my FAA flight simulator test dealing with my pilots license but not as complicated. All I need to do now is my physical then everything will be downhill. Yuppeeee!

Nice. I just finished my simulators last week and also hold a CFI-II pilots rating, went to school at Delta Aviation Academy down in FL and these sims reminded me somewhat of flight training too. I've heard ftom a few people here that shifting a real truck is easier than shifting those sims, and I hope that's true.

Welcome aboard. I'm in Springfield till at least Tuesday to get some repairs done after a guy tried to take my hood with him at a Flying J last week.

Not my hood, not in that fashion, that's for sure! Looks like I'll be here till at least Wednesday. Supposed to get a snowstorm tomorrow and Wednesday though.

He was just tryin' to help you with fuel bonus! Figured he'd round off the corners and make it more aerodynamic.

Hate to hear you had to go through that.

Actually the Sim is easyer to shift. You don't get gear scratching when shifting at wrong RPM like you would in a real truck. Also if you wear glasses the two side screens play tricks on your eyes.

I done my physical today and passed it now for the boring videos. I hope I can stay awake.

He shoulda taken off U2's hood if he wanted to help with a fuel bonus! I'm lease. It wouldn't have helped much anyway, my fuel dropped .75MPG with half the bumper gone and holes in the hood.

    Point taken.
Now there is a driver/business owner that keeps track of the details, and knows where the money is, and where it is going.
