Just wondering has anybody listened to his cd's and if the information is good and credible? I saw where he said something about going to a good CDL school for less money. I've seen schools that cost anywhere from $800 to $6000 for the same 4 week 160 hr course. Why is there such a gap in cost for what I'm assuming is the same info?

why does everybody want to pay big bucks for some private school when they can do what I did and go to a big truck company school for no up front money. Stay there a couple years untill its paid off, then move on. It was $2,500 and $50.00 a week was taken out of my check each week.

I hope someone replies with a review on his tapes as well, although I have been doing this a short while compared to some (7years) this thing called trucking is a never ending learning experience and I would, even at this point in time for me,like to find straight answers to straight questions.,is there even such a thing in trucking?? Please OP,read the posts about company training,-I cannot speak from experience,as I learned on my own,but many, many posts I have read here refer to it as nothing more than a form of slavery.-Do your homework, you will be glad you did..

What I'd like to know is how I can get it done for cheaper that the least amount I posted. I don't have that kind of money just laying around. -
1. pay the big bucks up front say 6g's or less you have to shop around call all the training schools and get prices
2. go to a big company that hires drivers with no exp and trains them
you either have the money to put up front or you dont, if you dont you will have to get hire by a comapany that will train you
there is no other option -
If you bail, they hit you up with the whole enchiliada of the bill no matter how long you were there - it's not pro-rated.
If you pay out of your own pocket, you're a "free agent" so to speak and are not beholden to any one carrier.
There's guys who have gone to private school and got a local job right out of the gate.... they skipped the whole living out of a truck thing. -
Check out community colleges and tech schools. See if grants are available.
