Oh no. I ran into a PTL driver at the TA outside Roanoke and she swore up and down that PTL was an okay company to work for and the only reason their trucks aren't maintained is because the driver is too lazy to do basic maintenance and pre-trips.
Her words..not mine.
When I left after my 34 she was still sitting there.

AHHH wait a minute...LIVING human bodies???OK I guess that's the same as putting bodies behind the wheel!
-
THAT is the NWO of trucking....###### the other guy.. drop the trailer and it aint your problem anymore...right???.....until YOU pickup that next trailer with 2 flat tires on the SAME axle....and you wonder WHY someone did to YOU what YOU DID to THEM...

Pam, you are an idiot just trying to get someone to write you!
I drive for ptl(4 years) and you lie about them! All is not rosey but not thorny either. They just got over 200 new frt. And int. All std shift. About 75% of 1000 trks have apu's and most are in pretty good shape compaired to what i see other co.s' using. If anyone is considering ptl, honestly things arenot much better anywhere else. -
I know Two guys that work at PTL, both seem at home with the company, only complaint was the 62 MPH.

I was leased to ptl for 2 weeks they dispatched me to pick up a trailer that had no flashers or brake lights they would not send out anyone to fix it i had to bobtail home 500 miles i know ptl is one of the worst outfits of all time next to direct transit of sioux city i will never understand how companies like ptl stay in business they are lower than mule dung??????

Pam as we all know opinion are subjective and based on ones own experience with a said circumstance. That having been said why would you call someone a liar? My experience with PTL was purely negative and I would not recommend them to anyone. I mean come on .30 cpm when you cross the Miss. river going west that is some kind of old school make money off the backsof the driver's bull. That is sad! But I have learned one thing in my 25 years of driving. Pick the color truck you wanna drive and get with it. I am happy that you have found your place in the world, even sorry companies like PTL need good drivers like you.

Oh goodness! Does not sound too good
...but my boyfriend will go to orientation with PTL on Wednsday and we are just trying to be positive as we can be. Even after researching and reading all the posts. The newsletters on their website sounds encouraging and right now with him only having 5 months experience and a previous felon (over 10 years but ...ne ways) sometimes you have to learn on ya own. Will keep you posted.

word of warning to you, look else where. Did the recruiters let him in on the fact that he can't get insurance until he has been there 12 months ? How about this that every time he crosses the Miss river his pay goes to .30cpm these folks in Murray are old school at best and liar at worst.
