If a person has to use one of the companies that sponsors students for CDL training... Which one or two companies would be at the top of the list out of the few that do so?
Thanks in advance

i would say Swift, or May,... im not sure if Watkins Shepard does or not but if they do they would be at the top from what i have heard
Joker24 Thanks this. -
Thanks. Hadn't heard of May until you mentioned it. I just looked at their website. They don't have the school anymore. You have to have experience already or be a recent graduate.
-
well with that i would say swift they are a decent company with quirks of a large carrier but to get your start they are good
-
Ok thanks for your opinion. I see that there aren't many that even do it anymore. Probably with the new regulations and changes in the industry, they'll probably be even fewer in years to come. I wish I had the option not to have to go that route though.

Howdy Joker
If you live near a Watkins Shepard terminal, you should definitely check th out. Just check there website.
For companies that still offer training, check Prime and Stevens. I believe Schneider has restarted their school, but I could be wrong. Give their website a check. Most importantly, spend time looking around this forum.
How long have you been considering this?Joker24 Thanks this. -
I've been strongly considering it for the last couple of weeks.

Howdy to you too...

SNI does not have a school anymore. You have to be a graduate of one of schools they have approved. You may be reimbursed if they hire you.

Does anyone else have any input?
