After reading all of these replies with just a simple question I am shocked on how many Quote on quote so called (professional) truck drivers could care less on safety. If a truck is not safe point blank I am not going to drive it. Why risk my life your life your wives kids etc life just because I want to make an extra buck. Not worth it. You see it on the news everyday. But because of guys that have replied just goes to show why so many people are terrified of driving next to trucks. You guys are supposed to be the professional. Correct? So what am I getting out of driving an unsafe vehicle? Does that make me more of a man for risking my life and your families life? Just can't figure out why I join this site trying to get advice as a newbie as the description as the thread said but instead I get alot of non (professional) Truckers on here telling me yah break the law as long as you get away with it go ahead and know one gets hurt who gives a !#$#. Nice way of helping a new guy out. Ok let me get everything straight its ok because as long as you dont get caught doesnt matter right? I have met good truckers out there and not all of them frown upon doing what is right for me the public and them. So Id rather be judged on doing it the right way then losing my license. SOme of you guys have been doing this for so long that yes you know what you can do and can't. That is why I came on here to get some advice from guys who knew what they are doing. That wasnt the case here. Instead I am turned away from an industry of so called professionals that have no real good advice only to say suck it up and deal with it. Great advice Ill make sure to pass the great information down to the next guy who is having an issue. Since when is asking questions a complaint on a forum lol isnt that the reason why they invented them?Thanks for alot of useless info from you guys. I'll be reading other threads instead of posting on here since I do see that not everytone thinks like the few that have tried to, well not help with anything but to irritate me with no useful info.
