Yea trans am used to be good, worked for them twice once about 4 yr ago & last time about 6 months ago i went to lease op that time. when Johnny did run it,it was a great place to work for, but yea now that russ runs its they dont take care of there drivers.Johnny use to say the drivers make him the $$ and every one else is costing him $$ and they can be replaced. But not any more cause russ thanks about it the opisit way.But like the advertisments say there lease purchase plan is like no others thats right cause all other companies are cheaper and better. with trans am your lucky to get miles unless your on the lease departments ### every other week about your miles.I had a fleet manager named ALE BLISS if any one has him the need to get rid of him he was a jerk from day one. no one at trans am likes him but Russ is afraid to get rid of him he cost trans am alot of drivers i came home on thursday for my time off after staying out 3 weeks and my daughter went in the hospital the night i came home so i told my fleet maneger i was going to stay in 2 extra days he had a fit about it & i didnt have no load on. i told him i was alease driver i could stay home as long as i wanted to cause i had money in my truck fund to pay my truck payment for a week if i wanted it off and on monday when i came from the hospital i went up to the place where i parked my truck every time i came in here lays a pile of my stuff on the ground and my truck was gone and when i seen the pile of my stuff i knew no one stole the truck i called ALE BLISS he said since i didnt want to go back out when he wanted me to he guess that i quit and had some body come get the truck and since i called him friday to say i would be in a couple extra days thats when he headed some one my way to get the truck and i called trans am and couldnt get to talk to Johnny and he never returned my calls (if he got the message to give me a call) and i couldnt go back to work for trans am so said ALE BLISS but that wasnt the worst thing they kept my last check for recovery of the truck and some other ting they added to so they could burn up my check. Oh it gets better they put on my d a c report that i abanded the truck oh yea i have a lawyer something is going to be done about this. Any way i could go on more about transam but just wanted to put it out there since i found this forum ive posted on other forums too about trans am!! JUST ALL TRUCKERS STAY AWAY FROM TRANS AM THEY ARE NO GOOD ANY MORE!!!!!

Tell your lawyer that you want to go after them for here is the term ''Illegal Repossession'' I use to do alot of repossessions and know the law to the T. I had my wrecker illegaly repossessed because I was not able to make the payments due to my cosigner not paying me for work preformed and he was good freinds with the bank president also did repos for that bank. Needless to say a big check later due to them illegaly repoing the truck and then selling the truck.
Even though I was behind in payments they did not follow the law. Your case is a little different due to your payments being current.
If you or your lawyer needs additional info on the Illegal repossession you can pm me and I can gather that info for you also include the state were you worked home office and your state.

Hopefully you read all clauses in the lease some will screw you over.

Note most laywers do not know or have the current law and it can varry a little from state to state.

Alot of people that gets things repo'd never know the law or can not afford to challenge the banks/ companies.

I used small claims and the banks lawyer was so scared he told the bank to settle.

You could of gotten them for grand theft too I do not know if you still can but I would check.

 Been with Trans Am leasing for almost a year and none of these problems I have seen. But then I also see how some of these drivers conduct themselves with the office personnel. I don't even work as hard as I could and I am making far more than most company drivers.

Trucking has been going downhill since I got in in the mid-90s, but seems to have taken a really steep dive the past year or so. I'm glad I got out, gentlemen.

There were some things I liked as a driver, such as loading up on a Thursday in upper New York and taking it all the way to San Diego for a Tuesday delivery. And it was even better if it was a holiday weekend, meaning no boss man or even an alarm clock for four days.

But the delights were and are far outweighed by the disadvantages, and the disadvantages seem to be growing by the day.

What is going on lately? High fuel prices are pinching these companies? What gives? Trucking sucked when I was in, but now it seems to suck even more for you guys.

I sit here in Florida for 2 days waiting on my load.
I got here yesterday, delivered, was preplanned.

The problem is the #### pickup isn't til tomorrow. :biggrin_25511:

I was SUPPOSED to be in Olathe on Friday to start the Coach's class.
But alas my FM didn't know what the status of "CP" meant.

So he never told the load planners, and here i sit.

    (CP means coach pickup)
