being a hazmat tanker driver , I always picked up chow and tried to hit a rest area or scale to park at don't like truckstops , never gotten woken up at a rest area or scale house by a lizard yet.. and the Dot men ussually leave me alone if I park at the scale , one night I had one get up on the truck to see if the paperwork was on the seat . suprised the snot out of him with my flashlite.. told him he had the grace of a moose .. next morning I also got my CVSA sticker on the units too ( vollenteered for a inspection and a free cup of coffee) I always had good equipment so I never worry about compliance checks .and the stickers to me is like a get out of jail free card .

Good post,Im a trainer at a major carrier, and teach my drivers the correct way to do the job.Your first post was very offensive to the trainers that teach it the correct way.Unfortunately their are a lot of bad trainers out their. But dont lump all of them in,just because they work for a so called BFI COMPANY,your way out of bounds.
