So we are both at Tunnel Hill now. Pretty awesome to see my wife after 6 freaking weeks. Anne got through everything except the drive test and backing test today, she will have those in the morning. She is #2 in line for her drive test tomorrow. I should be able to get through most tomorrow as I already have all of the online tests done. Pretty amazing facilities here for the drivers. I thought the Irving terminal was really nice but this is crazy. We are going to have dinner together tonight (Sushi) and hopefully Anne will get us a truck tomorrow while I am finishing up. She is in a final class, then we run to dinner and up to our Son's home in Chattanooga to sit on the deck in front of a fire and just be happy with family. Life is pretty good.

congrats to both of you. My wife and I did the same thing a few years ago with CFI. I remember the feeling of getting back together at the terminal, and getting our first truck together. We actually took over my trainers truck, he got a new one when we got back, so I just asked to stay put. We went to the hotel and had a nice steak dinner, then they had an ice storm we barely got out in time! What a way to start! lol Enjoy your travels just chalk up the bad trips to an experience, learn from them and enjoy the great days more.
    Again congrats on your accomplishment!

Anne is doing the drive test right now, she is going to do fine. Fingers are crossed on the truck selection. One of the guys we went to orientation with picked up his 2012 Cascadia yesterday. It would be nice to get a new truck so we can stay in one truck for a while. I would also like a 10 speed. We will see.

We are both done! Just finished my road test and we are in the lounge waiting for a truck to be assigned. Still want to say how impressed we continue to be with the people we have met in this company. Great attitudes and a positive place to be.
