My Experiance with Watkins Shepard!

So yep.....

I sat in helena for 14 HOURS! and they didnt even touch my truck...and my loaded needed to leave, so nothing got fixed

So I hook to my trailer and go to threeforks to scale it, I'm 1600 OVER on the trailer tandems...no big deal i'm only 76,000 gross and 28,000 on the drives, BUT wait it gets better, So I get out in the 5 degree weather to slide the tandems but they wont move , so i get out my hammer and get all four pins in and still nothing......WTF! So after 45 mintutes of rocking the truck and banging on the pins and destroying my NEW hammer, STILL NOTHING!

So I call helena, and they call a driver to meet me at the TS right before the scales on the way to billings. So I get there and its this driver named Tim, he runs doubles out of Helena, cool guy. Anyway so he tries to pull the handle out and no luck, then he says the handles bent, and I say yeah i know lol. Then hes like hmmmm I donno.

So he pulled on it some more while I rocked the truck and we finally got it out and slid them and we were off (we were both going to the Billings Terminal).

So we get there and I unload my 3 pallets, then went Across the street to Briggs and unloaded the rest of the trailer. Then I took that POS spring ride trailer back to billings and dropped it and TAGGED it OOS. Then I picked up this nice BRAND NEWISH trailer with air ride AND airslide tandems .


Then BACK to Threeforks to get loaded and had to wait for another WS driver and a Southern Refridgerated driver to get loaded first, so by the time I got loaded my 14 was about over so I just went to the TownPump around the corner which for some reason does NOT have wifi like all of the other town pumps and like the GPS said it did. Got a nice hot shower and some nice pictures there though.

Then of corse since is cold again, the bunk heater decides its not going to work.... so I got to idle all night and wake up with a headache and everything was all blurry again! First Walmart I see I'm GOING to get a carbon monoxide detector, I can't find any leaks on the exhaust but cleary its leaking somewhere.



Then today I got up and drove 700 miles to Jamestown, ND (YEP thats one more state checked off!)

I'm at the Jamestown Truck Plaza or (Tesoro) as it says on the actuall sign Exit 260 off I-94, not a whole lot of parking but theres only 8 trucks here and room for like 30 or so. Not so great WiFi but it works. AND they have a GREAT Cafe, Cheap too! $4.99 for a BLT.

Anyway so I have 9.25 hours left for tomorrow so I'll be going to either the Loves or the Pilot in WI. Then on sunday driving 11 hours to get within 3 hours of Carlisle, PA so I can do a 34 hour reset before I deliver on the 22nd.

I'm not sure why they routed me on 94 up through ND instead of 90 through SD like last time lol I got allot of AWESOME pics today, i'll upload tomorrrow with better WiFi along with the new video!

So today VERY exciting dispite the 8 hour drive


So I was driving East on I-94 in MN about 1.5 hours west of St. Paul this morning and I heard someone say something about a flatbed and a black car or something (I couldnt hear all that well as I had the radio on as well) so since I'm not hauling cars or pulling a flatbed I just keept on driving.

A few secounds later as I was scanning my mirrors, I see I have 2 soccer moms passing me in the hammer lane in there little mini vans.


THEN out of nowhere I hear this LOUD rumble noise, it got real loud REAL QUICK!


So I'm think I'm not on the rumble strips...so WTF?


So I look to my right and a Black Audi A4 Bombs by me on the Freakin Shoulder at 140+mph (now how do I know how fast he was going you ask?)

Well I was going 65mph and he was OUT OF SIGHT within 15 secounds (now remember i'm in MN so I can see WAYYYYYY down the road, and he was GONE!!!!!!


Now heres where it gets GOOD!


So I look in my left mirror again and I see RED and BLUE Lights! So I grab my CB mike and said "That cop better be going after that car"


And sure enough that cop was not trying to PULL him over he had been CHASEING HIM!!


So at this point i'm kinda pissed at the drivers behind me not letting me know what was going on, because I could have easily strattled the white line and blocked him until that cop was able to catch up in his slow little Black and White, but noooo they just mumble something on the radio.


So anyway about 10 minutes later i'm comeing up on a exit ramp and I see lots of red and blue lights! And sure enough the ####### tried to get off the highway at 100+mph and the cops had a road block at the bottom of the short ramp and he wrecked his car, ended up in the ditch They where dragging the kid 20somthing years old looking out of the car as I went by






I got to see a real live police chase!
