Looks to me the officer is at fault anyhow.
The truck was already changing lanes when the officer came speeding up his blind side. I can see where the driver didn't see him & doesn't have a clue he hit him.freightmaster and ironpony Thank this. -
I dont know... couldnt quite tell if the driver had his signals on. and watched it again 2x and nope the driver did not indicate that he intended to move a lane over even if he was being gated by a 4wheeler

I would want to see more footage then just that clip before making judgement. was the cop trying to get the trucker to stop prior to this incident?
-
looks to me like the cop hit the semi i watched this clip about a dozen times and it looked like the cop hit the truck but as you know no matter what it will be pinned on the truck
-
Truck probably didn't even feel it.
-
looks like the truck driver had already moved into that lane partially and the cop was trying to sneak by..it didnt look like a whole lane width was open when the cop started around...
-
Unless the cop had his lights on, I say cops fault for passing on right.
-
That's what it looks like to me, too. Appears though the truck was already coming over the center line when the cop was still behind it.Giggles the Original Thanks this.

I don't think the truck was changing lanes, just couldn't hold it in his narrow lane against the Jersey wall.
