Hey guys I need some good honest advice here and suggestions. I've been driving for nearly 16 years and just now started experiencing this. I seem to be having to go to the bathroom a lot(and I mean a lot lately). Now just to answer any questions that might come up. No it's not painful. I don't have sudden loss of control of my bladder. I'm 6'2 and 280 so yep I'm overweight. I had my blood sugar level checked recently and it was 100 so I think I'm ok there. I take blood pressure medication and it's verapamil so not sure if that is diruetic(spelling?) or not. It just seems that I can go to the bathroom and a half hour later, gotta go again. And yes, sometimes it causes me to get up from sleeping too. I'm a little freaked out over this so any advice or help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Looney Tune

Call your doctor, could be prostate issues among many other things...
-
If im not mistaken, if you got to go and you dont that is signs of prostate. I myself get up sometimes 3 or 4 times at night cause i drank to much liquids. But I go.

Dave I have no problem going, it's just the number of times that I seem to have to. It's like it feels nonstop sometimes. It drives me nuts

Same here, that and the fact that I was thirsty all the time, I called my Dr & she sent me for diabetes testing. And thats what I have, that was 11 years ago.CALL YOUR DOCTOR. -
Plenty of options, actually. Prostate, diabetes, urinary tract infection (less common in men, but it does happen). All require medical care... get to a doctor soon as possible, k (in case you haven't heard it enough yet)?

Hubby never had one problem with his sugar levels....I started noticing he was urinating alot more than usual and drinking alot more than usual. He had his sugar checked and it was 104. The doc had an A1 done which shows your sugar level back 3 months and guess what....he had pre-diabetes. You need to not eat or drink anything after 8 PM and go have the A1 test done first thing in the morning. That will rule out diabetes. Then the doc can get busy finding out what it may be....but please heed our advise and go to the doctor!
LooneyTune Thanks this. -
Ok I agree to see a dr about this. Frequent urination could just be from the meds but getting up in the middle of the night unless you are pregnant is not good generally. Not to freak you out but my father was doing the same thing as you and had end stage prostate cancer that spread. Have your PSA checked and also do a urine analysis. May be something as simple as a urinary or bladder infection which is common among us drivers that hold it forever on a daily basis.

Guys and ladies I will... I'll call him first thing tomorrow morning. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what they had and how it was treated
