Key word here is running.. the big compressor circulates air with-in the trailer. It sucks out air as well as sucks it in.. furthermore onions at 34 degs. should be dormat. You sure your reefer was working properly.. Well I guess if walmart took the load I was. Lucky me kraft doesn't sell onions.![]()

Got on my trainers truck sat afternoon. Drove 88 miles sat and got stuck in evanston wyoming cause road was closed. Drove sunday from Evanston to Denver on those nasty roads. Trainer was very empressed with the way I handled driving in those conditions sunday. Got up this morning and finished driving into Carthage Mo. to drop our load of Curd. got there at noon and we were told they dont unload after 12 we have to wait till tomorrow. Now we unload at 1030 tomorrow morning and our next load is a pickup at noon in Batesville Arkansas. Thankfully they already know we are going to be late and said thats fine. Nothing like learning what its like to sit in your truck for hours on end. Trainer said should get a lot better.

again, I am a solo l/o, on 2/23 I will have a year in the lease program, I checked earlier in the month and I was the #1 truck on my fleet at 137% utilization. Most of the stuff that you hear at terminals is BS.

Klingon's (and soon to be mine too) tractor doesn't have an Icon system - the machanic said that we/he shouldn't get dinged for over idling... hope that's true - once we start teaming that shouldn't be too much of a problem since I'm hoping we will be running most of the time - but right now he is going solo and has needed to stay warm etc.

huuummm never heard that before but i guess it makes sence but wouldn/t it make sence to open the inspection door to release the pressure before opening the barn doors?Klingon Thanks this.

who cares about the smell its not like your stuck with that trailer any length of time with all the drop and swaps they do. i think the longest i ever kept the same trailer was maybe 3 runs. a week at the most and since there.s no driver unloading or loading you wont be smelling it but when your opening and closing the doors. but i know thats not being courtious to the next driver who has to use the trailer. ehhh f em they are not gonna be courtious to you so let the next guy smell it. do i condone this kind of behavior no but i guess im getting a little grumpy after dealing with the mess other drivers leave me just my 2 cents..............
